Returning Home: Depending on what color tag you received, you will have an assembly area on the ship, and an estimated departure time. After you wake up in the morning and get dressed, you can go up to the dining facility and have breakfast. After breakfast you can go to your departure area and wait for your color to be called.
When your color is called, you leave the ship and go to the baggage claim area to get your bags. The bags are all located in one large room, and finding your bags may be the closest to chaos you see all week. While the bags are separated into areas by tag color, sometimes the bags are inadvertantly put into the wrong area. And worse, sometimes the tags fall off. Both have happened to us, and if you cannot find your bags, don't panic. Look for an assistant, and they will assist you in finding your bags. For bags that have no tags (if they fell off or whatever), they will have a designated area just for those. Porters are usually available to assist you as well.
Once you find all of your bags, take them through customs where you make any declarations you need to, and pay any duties if you exceed your duty-free allownce. At that point, you are back on US soil, and are on your own.
